Terms of use
The rules for using Duno, explained simply.
Draft pending legal review. Text in [brackets] is still to be completed.
1. Who we are and what you accept
Duno is a bilingual library of AI prompts, skills, and agents. The service is operated by [name or legal entity of the operator], referred to as "Duno" in this text.
By using the site or creating an account you accept these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. What the service offers
Duno publishes content to copy, install, and adapt: prompts, skills, agents, and getting-started guides. Part of the content is free and part is reserved for members.
Today the content on the site is sample content, and accounts and membership are not available yet. When they open, we'll say so on the site.
3. Accounts and membership
To create an account you must provide true information, be of legal age in your country, and keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens with your account.
When membership opens, we'll show the price, how you're charged, taxes, and how to cancel before you pay. Those details become part of these terms from then on. [Pending: price, payment platform, renewal, and refunds.]
4. How you can use the content
You can copy and use the content for your work and projects, including commercial use, unless an entry says otherwise.
You may not resell, republish, or redistribute member content in bulk, or extract it automatically to copy the library.
5. Third-party and community content
Some entries are written by Duno, some are selected from third parties, and some are submitted by the community. Each entry states its origin when relevant, and third-party content keeps its author's license.
If you submit content, you state that you have the right to share it and authorize us to publish, adapt, and translate it on Duno. You can ask us to remove it by writing to the contact email.
6. Tested and AI-generated content
The tested seal means someone ran the entry in the tool and on the date shown. It doesn't guarantee it will work the same in another version, another tool, or with your data.
Part of the content is generated with AI and reviewed by a person. It may still contain mistakes. Check results before using them for important decisions.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use Duno for illegal activity, to harm or impersonate others, to interfere with how the site works, or to try to access content or accounts that aren't yours.
8. Intellectual property
The site, its design, the Duno brand, and Duno's original content belong to [operator] or its licensors. These terms don't transfer those rights to you, only the permission of use described above.
9. Liability
The service is provided "as is". We do what's reasonable to keep it available and correct, but we don't guarantee it will be free of errors or interruptions.
To the extent the law allows, Duno isn't liable for indirect damages or losses arising from use of the content. [Pending: exact limits under the applicable law.]
10. Changes and termination
We may update these terms. If a change is important, we'll announce it on the site or by email. Continuing to use Duno after the notice means you accept the new version.
You can stop using the service and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [country or state], and any dispute will be resolved before [courts or resolution method]. [To be defined with legal advice.]
12. Contact
For questions about these terms write to hola@tryduno.com. [Provisional email: confirm when the domain is defined.]
